Kort gezegd
PrimaVista Studio heeft geen account, geen reclame en geen tracking. Wat je in de app doet, blijft op je iPad. Alleen als jij zelf bladmuziek laat scannen, gaan die bladzijden naar de dienst Flat.
Wat op je iPad blijft
Je stukken, mappen, rapporten, voortgang, opnames, aantekeningen, huiswerkfoto's en instellingen worden alleen op je iPad bewaard. De app stuurt ze nergens heen. Verwijder je de app, dan is dit allemaal weg (behalve een reservekopie die je zelf hebt bewaard).
Microfoon
De app gebruikt de microfoon om te horen welke noten je op je piano speelt, en om een stuk op te nemen als je daarvoor kiest. Het geluid wordt op de iPad zelf verwerkt. Opnames blijven op je iPad.
Camera
De camera gebruik je om bladmuziek te scannen en om foto's bij je huiswerk te maken. Die foto's blijven op je iPad, tenzij je een scan naar Flat stuurt (zie hieronder).
Bluetooth en midi
Via Bluetooth of een kabel verbindt de app met je digitale piano, om te horen wat je speelt en om noten te laten klinken. Daarbij gaan geen gegevens buiten je iPad en je piano.
Bladmuziek scannen via Flat
Kies je ervoor een pdf of foto's te laten lezen, dan stuurt de app die bladzijden naar Flat (flat.io), die er bladmuziek van maakt. Dat gebeurt alleen als jij op de knop drukt, en met je eigen Flat-account. De sleutel van je Flat-account staat in de beveiligde sleutelhanger van je iPad, niet in de app-gegevens of in een reservekopie. Flat bewaart het resultaat volgens hun eigen privacybeleid; de app bewaart de bladmuziek en de bladzijden daarna zelf op je iPad.
Reservekopie
Een reservekopie wordt alleen gemaakt als jij daarom vraagt. Het is een bestand dat jij zelf bewaart waar je wilt, bijvoorbeeld in iCloud Drive.
Apple
Heb je in de instellingen van je iPad gekozen om analysegegevens met ontwikkelaars te delen, dan kan Apple anonieme crashrapporten en gebruikscijfers aan ons doorgeven. Dat regel je zelf in Instellingen → Privacy en beveiliging → Analyse en verbeteringen.

In short
PrimaVista Studio has no account, no ads and no tracking. What you do in the app stays on your iPad. Only when you choose to scan sheet music are those pages sent to the Flat service.
What stays on your iPad
Your pieces, folders, reports, progress, recordings, notes, homework photos and settings are stored only on your iPad. The app does not send them anywhere. If you delete the app, all of this is removed (except a backup you saved yourself).
Microphone
The app uses the microphone to hear which notes you play on your piano, and to record a piece when you choose to. The sound is processed on the iPad itself. Recordings stay on your iPad.
Camera
The camera is used to scan sheet music and to take photos for your homework. These photos stay on your iPad, unless you send a scan to Flat (see below).
Bluetooth and MIDI
Via Bluetooth or a cable the app connects to your digital piano, to hear what you play and to play notes. No data leaves your iPad and your piano.
Scanning sheet music with Flat
If you choose to have a PDF or photos read, the app sends those pages to Flat (flat.io), which turns them into sheet music. This only happens when you press the button, using your own Flat account. The key to your Flat account is kept in your iPad's secure keychain, not in the app data or in a backup. Flat keeps the result according to its own privacy policy; the app then stores the sheet music and the pages on your iPad.
Backup
A backup is only made when you ask for it. It is a file that you save wherever you like, for example in iCloud Drive.
Apple
If you chose in your iPad's settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may pass anonymous crash reports and usage figures on to us. You control this in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.
